afarican safari writing

WALT write a recount focusing on using adjectives and correct punctuation.


Watch the following video of an African safari African Safari.


Now imagine that you are on the safari and describe one of your days in detail. Write it like you did the chimpanzee in space recount.


Think about what you can see all the animals, what they look like in detail, how they smell and what they would feel like. The plants, how they feel, the temperature of the sun the dusty road. Then talk about the people that you meet.


I can’t wait to read your writing and picture in my mind what you see.

The elephant's tusks are is white as snow on a cold day. It's skin is as wrinkly as a dehydrated apple. There ears are as floppy as a fish out of the water. It’s tail is as short as a larvae.
